-
Tatreez is a traditional form of Palestinian embroidery that has been practised and passed down through generations.
Known for its rich patterns and regional styles, tatreez is deeply connected to Palestinian identity, history and cultural expression. While cross-stitch is one of its best-known techniques, Palestinian embroidery also includes other traditions, such as Tahriri embroidery.

Our work is built around creating opportunities for Palestinian craftsmanship to thrive.
We work with women artisans through our cooperative in the West Bank, providing paid work and helping develop local production skills. We also reinvest profits into growing our work in Palestine, from training and equipment to creating further employment opportunities.
Our goal is to build a fashion brand that celebrates Palestinian creativity while contributing to a stronger, more sustainable local industry.

Clothing & Craftsmanship
-
Our clothing is made in Palestine in collaboration with skilled Palestinian artisans. We work with our cooperative in Beit Liqya, near Ramallah, Palestine combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary fashion design.
Through local production, we aim to create beautiful, well-made clothing while supporting employment and developing Palestinian fashion.
-
All our clothing items are handmade in Palestine, and all the embroidery in our products is hand embroidered by our team in Palestine. But not every design includes embroidery.
Our collections bring together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary fashion. Some pieces celebrate intricate Palestinian stitching, while others focus on silhouette, fabric and design. What connects them is our commitment to Palestinian creativity and production.

Workshops
-
Not at all! Our Palestinian embroidery workshops welcome complete beginners as well as people who have embroidered before.
We guide you through the techniques step by step, introducing traditional Palestinian patterns while sharing the history and cultural significance of tatreez.
-
We're based in London, but our workshops take place in different locations across the UK and internationally.
We collaborate with cultural venues, community organisations, universities and other partners to bring Palestinian embroidery to different audiences. We also do private workshops and events. You can find upcoming events on our Workshops page.

Our workshops combine an introduction to Palestinian embroidery and its cultural history with a practical, hands-on experience.
You'll learn about traditional motifs and techniques before trying the stitches yourself. Depending on the workshop, you might create an embroidered piece or personalise something from your own wardrobe.
-
Embroidery materials are generally included in our workshops, although what's provided may vary depending on the session.
For workshops focused on personalising clothing, you'll usually be asked to bring a garment you'd like to embroider. Please check the individual workshop description for details.
